Ironic item names...
This is just something funny I had thought of when I got a certain weapon earlier, and thought I would share it with you all:
Ebon Ivory Bow
So, see if you can think of some other items, whether you actually ever seen it or not, that are just entirely ironic like that. To name a few to get you started:
Charr Axe of Charrslaying
Beastmaster's Beastmaster Harness
Shocking Storm Bow
You get the idea...

I actually own these:
Dead Sword of Deathbane, Icy Dragon Sword of Dragonslaying,Grinning Dragon Axe of Dragonslaying, Dragon Hornbow of Dragonslaying and Dragon Staff of Dragonslaying.
And I also find Fiery Piercing Axe quite ironic.

Most of those posted are ironic, not oxymoron's. An oxymoron is a contradictory term, such as 'jumbo shrimp', and none of the above actually contradict each other. Now if you could somehow have, say, a 'Fiery Icy Dragon Sword', then it would be an oxymoron.
I found Cruel Celestial Blade mildly amusing.
Cruel Wicked Blade is kind of redundant...

Or, just maybe....

It's not ironic because the two are opposites, it's ironic because the two go together as a pair, and often quoted as such. It would be equally ironic if it were "White Ivory Bow," however in a slightly different sense. And of course, the name wouldn't exactly be worded that way.
Now, can we move on and stop derailing me thread?
